Job Description
TitleDescription
Technical Support & TroubleshootingProvide first-level and second-level technical support to hospital staff and IT users.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Maintain uptime of hospital computer systems, printers, scanners, and medical software.
Network & System MaintenanceMonitor LAN/WAN connectivity, servers, and routers to ensure smooth network operation.
Perform regular system updates, backups, and data protection tasks.
Assist in installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems and software applications.
User Assistance & TrainingSupport hospital employees in using healthcare information systems and digital platforms.
Conduct basic IT orientation or training for new staff on system usage.
Coordination & DocumentationCoordinate with developers and system administrators for complex issue escalation.
Maintain detailed records of IT incidents, service requests, and asset inventory.
System Improvement & MonitoringSuggest improvements to enhance network performance and security.
Implement preventive maintenance measures to avoid downtime or data loss.
Required Skills
TitleDescription
Technical SkillsStrong knowledge of Windows, Linux, and network environments.
Familiarity with LAN/WAN setup, routers, firewalls, and VPN.
Hands-on experience with troubleshooting PCs, servers, printers, and peripherals.
Understanding of data backup tools and cybersecurity best practices.
Basic knowledge of hospital management systems (HMS) or digital health software will be a plus.
Soft SkillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
Ability to handle pressure and respond quickly to technical issues.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new healthcare IT technologies.
Eligibility Criteria
TitleDescription
Educational QualificationDiploma / Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field.
Experience1–4 years of relevant experience in IT support, hardware maintenance, or network administration.
Preferred BackgroundExperience working in hospital IT systems, digital platforms, or cloud-based environments is preferred.
