Job Description
TitleDescription
Software Design & DevelopmentDevelop, test, and maintain hospital management software and digital health platforms.
Design scalable and efficient backend systems using modern programming frameworks.
Implement responsive front-end interfaces for web and portal applications.
System IntegrationIntegrate software with hospital information systems (HIS), electronic medical records (EMR), and other digital health tools.
Collaborate with IT and healthcare teams to ensure smooth data flow between systems.
Maintenance & SupportTroubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance and reliability.
Provide post-deployment support and manage version updates or patches.
Collaboration & DocumentationWork with project assistants, AI experts, and IT executives to design and implement new features.
Prepare technical documentation for software modules and integration processes.
Innovation & ResearchExplore and implement emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Data Analytics in healthcare.
Participate in the hospital’s digital transformation and automation initiatives.
Required Skills
TitleDescription
Technical SkillsProficiency in programming languages: Python, Java, PHP, C#, or JavaScript.
Experience with web development frameworks (e.g., Django, Laravel, React, Angular, or Node.js).
Knowledge of database management systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
Familiarity with API development and integration (RESTful APIs, JSON, XML).
Understanding of AI/ML concepts, data analytics, and automation tools is desirable.
Tools & PlatformsGit/GitHub or other version control systems.
Cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
Basic understanding of server management and deployment tools.
Soft SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
Effective communication and documentation abilities.
Commitment to innovation and continuous learning.
Eligibility Criteria
TitleDescription
Educational QualificationBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
Experience2–5 years of experience in software development, preferably in IT, health tech, or digital systems projects.
Preferred BackgroundExperience in healthcare software, hospital information systems (HIS), or AI-based applications will be an added advantage.
